Who: Molly Noguchi
What: The day after 4.03 Waking the Tyrant's Device. A certain curious Lieutenant goes wandering the Andromeda Ascendant.
Warnings: Mild sexual references.
She'd woken in a proper bed under proper sheets for the first time in weeks, with the coolness of silk slipping against her skin. It was familiar, and safe, comforting in a way she'd never have admitted out loud. Even after two years' worth of hurt and disappointment, she couldn't forget those three weeks she'd spent on the Andromeda. Three weeks spent learning to trust, admire, adore Dylan and what he stood for, three weeks of nights in the strength of his arms. Her life had changed in that time, and not just because of the training she'd started on Mobius. And waking in Dylan's quarters surrounded by everything that made him him had been an inseparable part of it all.
When she woke this morning, Dylan was gone, but the last time she'd been aboard the Andromeda, she'd grown used to waking up without him, and she'd learned it wasn't a slight against her. Especially since most of the time, like this morning, she'd found breakfast and clean clothes ready for her.
(Spending the night with the captain definitely had its perks.)
It was also the first time in weeks she'd had something as simple as a clean uniform and a good meal, and she took her time dressing, getting every little detail of her uniform regulation-perfect, tying her hair back, and preparing for the day.
She knew better than to go looking for Dylan; she'd learned last time she was aboard his ship just how busy he was, and now, of course, she knew just how military protocol and procedure operated on a High Guard ship, even the Andromeda.
The crew, though, were fair game, so she went in search of them. It had been a long time since she'd seen any of them until yesterday, after all.
